The Journey is the Destination: Sunday 17 August 2014 Las Vegas to Utah 12

Today we had brunch in Vegas with friends from our church choir.  Suyen got her shopping in.  I got a refrigerator magnet from vegas.  It was less than a dollar at a kiosk in the outlet mall, so the lady wouldn't take a card, but she was nice and said just take it.  I made sure I got some money and came back and paid for it to her pleasant surprise.  While Suyen was in the mall I tried to nap in the van with the generator running the A/C, but I felt too insecure to sleep and it was too hot to get the van cooled down anyway.  We were trying to decide if we wanted to spend more time with our friends in Vegas or just move on, but since they were into eating and we have been overdoing the food part, we decided to keep up with our schedule and move north.  We really wanted to explore the scenery up north.
